Qianqian Pronounced like “chyen-chyen” Wang

I am an incoming Assistant Professor at Harvard University and the Kempner Institute (Fall 2026), and currently a Member of Technical Staff at Rhoda AI. Prior to this, I was a postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley with Prof. Angjoo Kanazawa and Prof. Alexei A. Efros. I received my PhD in Computer Science from Cornell Tech, Cornell University, advised by Prof. Noah Snavely and Prof. Bharath Hariharan.

My research focuses on understanding and modeling the dynamic 3D world from everyday images and videos. My long-term goal is to build intelligent systems that can perceive, understand and continually learn from the ever-changing physical world. Recently, I have become interested in active perception, long-context vision modeling, and visual reasoning in support of this goal.

I will be recruiting PhD students in the December 2025 application cycle! I will also be looking for motivated research interns and postdocs to join my group.
