Qianqian Pronounced like “chyen-chyen” Wang

I am an incoming Assistant Professor at Harvard University and the Kempner Institute in Fall 2026. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley, working with Prof. Angjoo Kanazawa and Prof. Alexei A. Efros. I completed my PhD in Computer Science at Cornell Tech, Cornell University with my advisors Prof. Noah Snavely and Prof. Bharath Hariharan. Before that I received my bachelor's degree from Zhejiang University, working with Prof. Xiaowei Zhou.

My research focuses on understanding and modeling the dynamic 3D world from everyday images and videos. My long-term goal is to build intelligent systems that can perceive, understand and continually learn from the ever-changing physical world. Recently, I have become interested in active perception, long-context vision modeling, and visual reasoning in support of this goal.

I will be recruiting PhD students in the December 2025 application cycle! I will also be looking for motivated research interns and postdocs to join my group.
